Turtle Wings offers monitor recycling of both CRT and LCD monitors. CRT monitors are of special concern, as they contain toxic materials such as cadmium and lead (in the leaded glass) which can contaminate the environment and pose a health risk to untrained personnel. Since 2001, the EPA has encouraged businesses and government agencies to avoid pollution and health risks by ensuring that all CRT monitors are disposed of at a certified facility equipped to recycle electronics.

Our computer monitor disposal process is performed domestically and in full compliance with all state, local and federal regulations. We are an ISO certified company and have complete downstream documentation on all of our processes.

From our inception in 2005, we have always been aware of the potential hazards associated with CRTs and have processed them domestically. We have always believed in Globally Beneficial Recycling.
