Turtle Wings, an R2 and ISO 14001 certified company, provides nationwide computer recycling services to corporations who wish to responsibly recycle electronics. We hold the federal government contract for electronics recycling. Our processes have been thoroughly vetted by an independent third party. If your company is a federal government contractor who used federal funds to purchase electronic equipment, then you recycling has to be done by a certified recycler (R2 or e-stewards certified) to be in compliance with the amended Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clause and the Federal Management Regulation stemming from Executive Order 13514 and the March 2012 GSA policy.  Turtle Wings is R2 certified.  According to the GSA:  “The policy incorporates the use of recyclers certified under R2 and e-Stewards because these third-party standards have already been adopted by the electronics recycling industry as environmentally sound. A recycler must be certified to at least one of the two standards. Certified recyclers are regularly audited by these certification entities to ensure that electronics are processed in a manner that protects public health and the environment.”
